Good luck with it couldn't of my first scores when I was new to woodburning was a big, long cherry and I was ecstatic to get it. It seemed like a special thing for some reason...guess I never knew much about trees before that and was surprised to learn how prevalent cherry trees were around here
. It split like a dream, dried wonderfully in time for the following season.
I haven't had another good cherry score until recently. Brought home a truckfull, thought I had a real score. Turns out this one is one of the stringiest things I've ever split! It splits apart but each piece is a fight to finally get separated. Hardly worth the hassle but now my driveway is half full of it so I gotta get it done.
