Feeling the Heat

Was at Home Depot in Bennington and they had Blazers! Never seen any DF around here. 20 bag max but only 4.85 per bag, that 242.50 a ton. How are they? Picked up 10 bags (all I had room for without making the wife ride on the roof). Will test after my Sunday cleaning.
Interesting to see how they stack up to the Vermonts.

Wow, nice! I'd love to find those around here.

I hear they're extremely hot. I think JT tested them a while back and, IIRC, nothing was even close to them in terms of heat output.

Check your local HD. The manager said this was what they were getting for recent deliveries. Also said no one wanted them because they weren't hardwood!

I was in Bennigton last week and they only had Green Supremes, I passed and got a few Energex at Stove depot.
Home Depot in Saratoga are out of pellets completely. I ended up buying Lignetics at Country Power Supply in Greenwich.

They had the GS but UNDER them there were Blazers.

Depending where in upstate NY you are, Stove Depot in Rutland, VT had a fairly good supply last week. Got a ton of Northerns. Also Vermont Wood Pellet mill is in Clarendon and they sell from there.

Rutland would be about a 70 minute drive. Stove depot in Bennington until recently had a choice of 4 pellets, Turmans, Ambiance, Energex and (I forget) right now they only have Energex. Bennington Pool and Spa has had Cubex all season.
Have you tried Telescope Casual Pellets in Granville? I had some 2 seasons back and they were real good Unfortunately since they are only open M-F I can't get there.
