I recently installed a Breckwell insert in my basement fireplace. I have a Breckwell free standing stove on the main floor. I get a lot less heat output from my insert than my freestanding stove. The specs. say I should get the same. Could this be because I am going into a 6" chimney liner and no back pressure = all the heat up the chimney?
Anyone like to give an opinion?
