I’m looking for some help with how the seals are installed on the old Buck 28000 wood stoves. I moved into a house with one installed but all the seals were gone.
I’ve done lots of reading on here and ordered ash bar wicking for the bottom of the stove. I installed rope gasket along the door opening on the stove as suggested by a friend but the bottom of the doors does not seal tight and it’s allowing the fully filled stove to get really hot despite shutting down the damper and air inlets...
I could really use the wisdom of the folks on here to get this beast sorted.
