spent the day splitting wood, and making a pile of smaller brach cuttings, maybe 2-5" round-got a good sized pile built up, and have been burning them this evening.
Yes, I've to load more often, but burning the "rubble" keeps my logs in the pile.
It's in the 20's here now (OK), and the stove is doing a good job of heating the house-although I've not mastered the overnight burn yet, it still does a good job overall.
Glad I got it!

Any tips for a long overnight burn anyone?

So your burning wood you just split?

I hope your not burning wet wood that was freshly split? What kind of stove?

I was splitting the large rounds of a dead tree that I cut down a while ago.
The wood I burn (oak) is dried and burns magnificently.

Osburn 2200.

Congrats on the new stove pict. Burn the same as daytime procedure as per the manual, but with larger splits.
