I had a local guy cut a branch out of a dieing ash tree in my yard it was hanging horribly over my garage and I could see the what was going happen in the near future. I told the guy to just cut it and let it drop on the ground and I would clean up the brush and wood. Anyway pics or it didn't happen right?

After clearing the brush pile in the 105° heat index I said the bucking can wait.

Then when I took the brush to city dump I found this.

And I couldn't just leave all that. So, I loaded abit up to take home.

Those are two different trees. Logs could be a maple , but the round looks like ash.

Bottom two pics look to be ash, top two look to be silver maple.
Good score regardless!!

Looks like maple and ash. Thats a good day right there.

I agree silver maple and ash! Great find

I got my ash from my yard loaded up in the trailer and it was only about half full so I went to the dump to top it off.

Here's alittle better pic of the wood pile out there
