New house, new stove questions.

One room has a masonry fireplace that's been converted with a wood stove insert. The small label in the corner says Pacific Energy. Can anyone ID the model so I can get a manual for it? Anyone know if it happens to be any good or if there's anything I need to know about it (only prior experience is with an Ideal Steel, for reference).

Looks like a Summit. Not sure which one, but would guess a Summit C. It's an excellent heater. You lucked out.

Add a shot of the interior. But if the baffle tube (the rectangular tube that feeds air into the baffle) is centered between the rear bricks it would be a Summit, if the baffle tube is offset to the right, then that would make it a Super 27.

I'm pretty sure it's a Summit based on the visuals of the side panels and ash lip but it wouldn't hurt to verify with the firebrick pattern.

Turns out that you *can't* call PE as they don't have a phone number for the public to use. That's a big red flag to me.

I pushed and pulled at the surround/blanking plate to try to get it to come off to invesitgate if there's a label behind it, but I couldn't figure out how to get it free. Wasn't willing to try to force it without having instructions for exactly how to remove it.

I took some pictures of the inside of the firebox for you guys but I don't have real internet here yet so I'll upload them once I get back to my old house.
