Can I switch snap discs?

I have a Classic Bay 1200 by Quadrafire. My snap disc #2 has gone bad. I ordered this disc, but was sent snap disc #3. My question is, can I replace the broken snap disc #2 with the snap disc #3 that was sent to me in error? It will fit as I have already performed a trial, but did not re-connect the wires. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

It can in a pinch. The #2 disc is set for 200*, and the #3 is set for 250*. The #3 has a reset button that you have to manually reset. I would use it till you get the right one. kap
