Good morning everyone. I have a classic bay 1200 fs that was purchased in 2010. The stove ignites and drops pellets for about 5 minutes after igniting then shuts down. I changed out the thermocouple with an oem part and that didnt work. Had the vacuum switch replaced with an oem part and that didnt work either. If i push the reset button once while the stove is running the stove it cycles again and will alow for the blower motor to come on but will shut down after 5 or so minutes. I cleaned out the vent pipe and the entire stove including under the burn pot and behind the combustion chamber.

I had a tech out to my house and he was a nice guy, but called someone every step of the way. He originallly thought my stove would be dirty and that was not the case. Dont know if he really knew what he was doing. Could this be a snap disc issue? Any help is appreciated

Might be the control card, or bad connection to the thermocouple. The snap disks are for other things. You probably have a proof of fire issue.

If thats the case i would lean towards the control board. I used an aftermarket thermocouple then bought an oem one to be on the safe side
We should get this moved to the thread Pellet Stove area too. Let us know how you make out.

If you don't have Whole Home Surge Protection on your panel, I'd put it in. Or at least a surge bar/plug for the pellet stove.

Well, for Quads, the thermocouple is the proof of fire, reaching 200 deg burnpot temp, the auger resumes feeding (green light on control board) until 600 deg, then red light comes on on board. If you are sure TC is good, pushed in all the way in the cap (and it extends about 1 inch out into burn pot), are you ever getting a light on control board? You could have a control board issue. Is this the issue for replacing the TC in the first place? Thought of one more thing too. Is the bottom of burnpot half moon (the ash dump mechanism) closed properly? That will mess with airflow and correct operation at times too.
