Someone on here mentioned that some are having good results with making a simple wood kiln with plastic Wrap and vents. Im working on my oak for next year (hopefully) and don’t know how to stack for my future plastic wrap kiln.

Solar kiln for hardwoods
My solar kiln, was made from the big box store wood racks as an experiment to see if i could season hardwoods like @Poindexter has done with softwoods. Materials used were wood racks, 2x4 pressure treated, 6 mil clear plastic, a small roap, contractors stretch wrap and a staple gun My wood racks...

My first thread that was put together for the solar Kiln was not actually intended to be posted, so this time I took the time to try to put together more information. The wood was split March 30th and the racks were set up on April 6th the wood that was split was all Oak and the moisture...
