Hi, I have old arrow 2400a wood stove.
However I can't figure out date of mfg on aluminum tag.

Can you please determine the manufacturing date of an old wood stove?

Why not? If the company was only in business for a few years, that would be your window. Companies in business for longer periods generally make small or large modifications to their design and that change could indicate the range as well, but it takes time to research. You might do better putting your tag information in this thread and hope someone more knowledgeable will know or choose to search for you

UPDATE: Looking for owner's manual for Arrow Wood Buirning Stove, Model 1800A

AS AN FYI, GOT MY QUESTIONS ANSWERED, THANKS VERY, VERY MUCH. In addition, I sent a request to Heatilator for an owner's manual; a long shot as they'd owned ARROW after this stove was made. You can imagine my great surprise when I got an email from Heatilator less than 12 hours later with a pdf...
