Hello folks,
This morning the carbon monoxide detector went off in the furnace room. We called the company who serves our furnace. The guy inspected it and found nothing wrong.
When he moved the detector closer to our wood stove, it was triggered instantly. The CO level was around 60.
We ran the stove last night, and it was still warm inside when the furnace guy checked it.
The wood stove was installed in last May, and CO seeping into the house happened for the first time today.
How can we prevent this problem in the future?
Will fresh air intake pipe help?
thank you!
