Hi all! Wondering... I'm finish up details and I need to caulk around the thimble trim where it meets the tile behind the stove. The gap is just under an 1/8". I can't imagine the trim gets super hot at this area, so am I okay using a standard color match caulk at this spot? Was thinking about the typical color match polyblend sanded or silicone caulks by Custom that match the stone color. Thanks!

Silicone caulk will have a higher temp rating. It comes in clear, black and grey.

I don't find a temp rating for the product, but it should be better than an acrylic.
