Hi All,

I have a County Canyon (Lennox) ST301. Great stove, lots of heat.
Need to replace the baffle boards and ceramic blanket. Over $200 from various dealers...OUCH!

Two questions please:
1. Found a reasonably priced blanket on ebay...could someone please chime in on whether this is appropriate? Seems to go up to 2300 with a melt of 3200 degrees. Here is the link:

2. Also, could someone recommend an online dealer where I can get 1/2" baffle boards at a reasonable price?

Thanks all, and stay warm!!

Jamie

at 2,300deg f you will have bigger problems than a flashed blanket, think about it, steel starts to glow at 900deg f, melts at 2,750deg.
you may want the spec sheet of the ceramic blanket then compare it to the oem one, making sure the thickness is correct to keep the proper insulation with the correct distance to stove top so the smoke flow doesn't become disturbed.

Thanks much Kenny. Obviously, I will not be burning at the 2300 temp (can't imagine getting that hot!!!), it's just that the blanket is rated to go up to that temp. I checked the manual I have from Lennox, and it does not list any specs for the blanket material.

I'll stay tuned for others' responses. Thanks all!

You might also try to find an industrial supplier (like the one linked here, somewhere in the Philly area ... I found one near Boston that sells various scraps, seconds and odd sizes for dirt cheap:

The Performer used to have baffle bricks. They normally would last forever. Does your stove have a baffle board instead?

VERY smart thinking Branchburner! I'm near Wilmington DE and PHilly, so I'll look near both. Thanks again!

EDIT - I was looking at the performer, not the 310

What is the thickness of the baffle board? Wondering if this would work?

HI BeGreen, Here is the schematic from my manual. It was installed I think in 2009. IT is the Lennox County Canyon model ST310.

Looks like it's a least $200+ bucks for the kit (board and blanket) ouch.
