In my eagerness to do a thourough job cleaning my stove I shook the ceramic blanket a little too hard and tore it. It didn't come apart, just put a tear in it. Does it need to be replaced? If so, can I run the stove until the new one comes in or is this dangeous?

Also, the cheapest I can find is about $40 shipped. This is for a Quadra-Fire 3100. Is there someplace that sells them cheaper or is that pretty normal? I saw some asking $100.

It’s not a safety concern. The blanket is for efficiency reasons. Burn on!
