Chase Venting

Looking for some ideas/examples/pictures of how to make a chimney chase open to my house so it actually becomes part of the heated living space. My first thought is just a normal HVAC vent of some type or another near the bottom of the room and one at the top.

Insulate and drywall the outer walls of the chase, don't insulate the partition wall. Drywall does not have a very substantial R value so the heat will transfer through it.

Thanks but the current exterior wall is already well insulated so I will have to provide some type of venting near the floor and near the roof.

Why do you need ventilation in there?

I want to keep the chase warm to keep the chimney warm and visa versa.

As I said, don't insulated the wall between the house and the chase, it will be inside the envelope this way, heat can transfer through the drywall. There is no need for ventilation.
