I want to put a chimney cap on top of my 11x7 chimney. When I search chimney caps on Ebay the closest size I find is 13x8 or 13x9. Will this size fit on my chimney?

The chimney caps are usually measuring the outside of the flue, while you are probably checking the ID. Either of those should fit, but you should look at the manufacturers site - they give a range of OD fits.

The walls of the tile are usually a little less than an inch thick - 7/8" is typical.
