[Hearth.com] Chimney flashing questions

Sorry if this is someone's picture I'm just using it for example. For the shingles above the boot do you renail them? Also do you caulk around the boot where the shingles meet?

Yes the shingles still need nailed down. I try not to nail through the flashing if avoidable. And no no caulk is needed.
