Looking for the best place to get 6" stainless rigid pipe . and components cap to stove connection . I have the fisher insert with existing 13x9 clay tile flue . it had the regular steel pipe . also does it need to be insulated .

Insulating your liner will reduce creosote build up and reduce any heat radiated away from the liner towards the chimney. Contact your building department, follow code, follow manufacturer installation instructions, and get an inspection.

I would strongly recommend heavy wall flex liner for an insert. No benefit to rigid when you will need flex to get through the old damper area. Also you need at least 7" or an equivalent oval liner for a fisher insert. And yes it needs insulated
