Chimney problem....need help asap.

Smoke billowing out of door wood stove this morning...

Think Santa is stuck in my chimney.

Put a nail on the end of a long stick and poke that up the chimney. It just might unblock it but perhaps the younguns' should cover their ears first.

Stop burning till you find the problem. A lot of people with caps have the spark screens plug up

I was thinking maybe one of those tazer guns. %-P
Try opening a window in the room with the stove.

Yeah if you have a cap that's probably the culprit... if not the next quickest fix is to tie a rope to a balled up chain and drop in down the chimney. Then make arrangements for a pro sweep asap and listen to any wood burning advice he may offer up.
