Can you mix different types of pipes?

Like someone here is selling 18 foot of Super pro pipe.

I need 22 foot. Can I then use a 4 foot section of security pipe?

And then same question for support boxes. I dont see a support box for super pro that would work inside my case.
 
No, you can't mix brands. The fit probably wouldn't be exact enough. Is this Selkirk Super Pro? I bet you can still buy.
 
All the pipe manufacturers as well as all the appliance manufacturers say no. Rick
