Could not find any missing nuts in the hopper any ideas?
 
Maybe it was in a bag of pellets and it made it through to the burn pot??????????????????

I was thinking this too. It is very possible. I'm sure nuts and bolts can
fall off the pellet bagging machinery and wind up in a bag of pellets.
 
Thanks, I had not thought of the pellet manufacturer angle, the nut was in bad shape but I attributed to the trip through the auger and burn time. You are probably right though, but I will check again.
