Hey everyone. I was in my local home depot here in western NY and saw all the stoves on the floor had yellow clearance tags on them. I don't remember the exact prices, but I do remember that one was marked down ~$125. They were all pellet stoves, no wood stoves on the floor. Not sure if they are on clearance as well.

This is kinda frustrating because I watched that store all winter and spring last year to get my 30. They never went on clearance, so I got mine at full price.

Don't worry, that 30 will burn just the same as if you got it on sale.:p;lol

I looked for awhile myself on the 30 and never found it cheaper than 899, more than happy with the direction I went instead

Me too, plus 99 for shipping, plus 8% sales tax but it is still a great deal.

I agree guys, regular price on these guys is still a killer deal. I just wanted to be in the cool kid club by buying it on clearance.

I see you have a Myriad. I ran that at my old house for two years, this is my first year on the 30. Plan on writing up a comparison to post since a lot of people tend to ask about comparing these two.

I have to brag every time a thread like this pops up. I found my 30 on "clearance" for $699. I had a 10% off coupon and bought it on a tax free holiday. I was out the door for $629. Hard to beat that!

that will help a lot of people out

I figured a lot of people would like it, but I wanted to get a full season (well, as close to one as possible) with the 30 before I wrote up the comparison.

Alright, you just dove right into the deep end of the "you suck" pool! ;)

'Course I can beat that...a $5000 Yukon Husky wood/oil furnace bought used, but used-very-little, good condition for $250! ::-) (got an extra towel?)

But mine was brand new LOL

Was picking us some wood working supplies at menards yesterday and they had some of their stoves clearanced for $200 off. A good time to buy a stove.

around here it is a good time to buy a snow blower also, I don't get marking down the stoves when it is still so cold out, but with only one snow storm in January, the snow blowers are still stacked up.
