Can someone tell me what the max single wall stovepipe clearance to combustibles is using a heat shield? Is it 50% from 18" to 9"? Thanks I cant find my 211.

I believe it is 6" for vertical and 9" for horizontal SW pipe. (Considering the heat shield is NOT aluminum foil !) Where in SEMO are ya?

Thanks, So it's 66% reduction clearance with a heat shield? I thought it was 50% I'm in Republic about 7 miles west of Springfield.

My uncle lives just out of Joplin. The SEMO made be think you were over here close to us instead of Sprgfld. I'm originally from Pemiscot County (MO Bootheel). Remember, it depends whether you're considering vertical or horizontal pipe. When in doubt - keep with the 50% plan. It's easier to live with 3" too much than it is with 1" too few. Have a great day.
