Almost all my life I've used a coal stove in my living room to heat my house. About six years ago my pregnant wife demanded that I get a gas furnace(boiler?) with baseboard installed because she was worried about the fumes/dust. That lasted one winter. Fast forward six years later and my pregnant fiance demanded that we get the gas furnace going again. We found out that it's broken due to frozen pipes etc and I'm going to have to buy a new one. Not happening. I don't like the idea of gas heat, don't ask me why I just don't. We're probably going to buy an air purifier and stick with the coal stove.
My question is can I get a coal/wood boiler and tie it into the baseboard? If so, what kind of vent would it need? Thanks.

Keystoker I think makes a coal boiler, and there are a number of good wood boilers and combo units out there. Just go to google, type coal boiler and watch

Try going on Keystokers website and finding a local dealer. Give the dealer a call for pricing.
