I think we all know solar panels are "greener" than coal but this comparison is interesting (and shocking):

You need to know the cost of each plus installation cost before you can make a comparison. I could make a dramatic comparison with a couple pounds of uranium vs a whole train load of solar panels. This comparison is very misleading. That said i love the idea of solar heat and solar power, iv been using it for 20 years.
