A couple comets are suppose to make an appearance this year.
The first one is on the already visible in the Southern hemisphere, and should hopefully start being visible in the Northern hemisphere by the end of the week.

The next comet, Comet ISON isn't due to make it's appearance until fall, but some people have predicted it could be spectacular, maybe even brighter than the full moon, possibly even visible in broad daylight. Time will tell.

Thanks for the info, Randy. We'll have to dust off my son's telescope and have a look-see.....

Most of 'em already are, Jake. Welcome back, how was the vacation ??????????

I think you're right . . . sometimes I want to just crawl into a hole and avoid the whole of human race as I think we're all doomed by our own stupidity.

Vacation was great . . . I wasn't here . . . all too short though.
