Condensing Gas Insert

Anybody heard of the Mantis from Empire Comfort Systems? It seems uniquely efficient, but I'm not sure the humidification is a desirable feature.

Interesting. I wonder how "realistic" the flames are (that seems to be a big selling point for a lot of manufacturers). You would think something with a 90% AFUE would look like a furnace (blue flame only).

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. The manufacturer makes ventless gas units, too, which makes them a little bit suspect in my opinion. If I find out any more, I'll post here.

I saw that at the show last year, intresting looking with its PVC vent. I didnt like the way it looked, burning or physically.
