I just installed my 6" flexible SS liner today. The liner was purchase from The chimney Liner Depot. They said the standard T would work with a double wall stove pipe, so did Woodstock stoves where I was going to get the double wall stove pipe, but it was backordered. I purchased Selkirk pipe and they also said the double wall pipe did not need any adapter. It seems like the snout on the T is almost the same size as the dw pipe. Any recommendation? Thanks. I am using the correct end for the connection.

Can I cut a slit in the snout about 1 inch on the bottom to allow it to squeze in?
