If you do not have the owner's manual yet, you can download it from
harmanstoves.com

Inspector in our town measured our hearthpad to make sure it was
within the specs of the manual before approving the permit.
My stove is not in a corner, but hearthpad is 46x46
 
I cut a 4x8 sheet of backer board and doubled it over.
dont put it too close to the wall or cleaning will be a PITA!
I was in the process of installing it when I took this photo.
And just as an aside...this photo became the most popular/viewed on my Flickr site in the last 2 months.
