Crack in my Keystone

Hey guys,
I just noticed a small crack in my Keystone tonight. It’s in the small piece below the door. Is this a major or minor problem?

As long as it stays that tight, it should be fine.

That area is two stones thick so maybe no air leak into the firebox, not sure. Do you see flames in that area under certain burn conditions, indicating that air is entering the box down there?

I thought it was only 1 stone in that spot. And no, I haven’t noticed a hot spot there or anything else to suggest an air leak there.

Yeah. W-248b looks like a single piece.

I have a Palladian and it has a fine hairline crack in the same stone roughly centered under the door.
