I have an England 2001 wood burning stove with the center glass in a tri glass door cracked. Is it safe to continue to use the stove? Thank you.

I've read a lot on here where it's strongly discouraged to run a stove with damaged glass. Reason being it could fail more significantly and give a rush of air to the fire, or be letting extra air in as it sits, or let a log roll out in certain situations. That said, I've also read where "blessings" were given to "limp" a stove along with small fires until the glass could be replaced.
Try calling any glass shops in your area, many of them have it in stock and can cut to fit.
Why did you break the glass?

IF you can't get a piece of glass from a local supplier or the mfg. and need to use the stove, you should be able to find someone who will cut a piece of heavy steel to put in place of the cracked glass until the glass arrives. Much safer.

you shouldnt, but i burned my hearthstone for a while with a small crack in the corner. no issue noted.

and yes, most local glass pros have stock sheets they can custom cut for you.

It is my brother in laws stove so I do not know how he broke it. It is the glass between two other pieces of glass. Should he still not use it?

Replace the glass. It should be ceramic glass which is sold by good glass shops or the manufacturer of the stove.

Yes. You want to risk a fire on your hearth? Would you drive a car with a rotted fuel line? Use your head!
