Probably not very visible in the picture because of glare, but I’ve had some white clouding of the inside of the stove glass for a number of years. I feel like it’s been slowly getting a bit worse and I’d like to try to fix it. I’ve seen on YouTube where a particular guy had buffed it out and that seemed to take care of the clouding effect. I wanted to check in here though to see if that is something recommended and OK for the glass, or if there might be a better method (short of replacing the glass).
If anyone is wondering what’s up with the heart extension, I just did some spring cleaning and mopped it up so it’s wet.

It happens over time. Our stove's glass after 17 years is definitely not as clear as it was long ago. I remember the posting about polishing out the haze. It's a multistep process with increasingly finer compounds and a fair amount of work IIRC.

Thanks @begreen . I may just let it go then. You had me at “ a fair amount of work”. Lol.

Lots of stoves' glass will get cloudy with time. Don't know if anything short of replacement will fix that. Is your glass out of your Rockland? If not, your glass looks great... If a couple of doses of Rutland glass cleaner with silicone doesn't buff it out clear, I'd use as is. My glass on my old Enviro isn't perfect, but its around 16 years of age now. Keep burning your Jotul, altho this week (finally) we may be getting some warm weather.

Glass is in. Just before taking the pic, I scrubbed up the sooty areas around the perimeter of the glass. Wet paper towel and wood ash. I think I will leave as is. Thanks for the help!
I’ve switched over to mostly pellets now for this season. It’s in the basement and the heat is a bit easier to control. This time of the year, I get a bit “burned out” with the wood stove chores so it’s not to call it quits.
