Here is a cruise with Viking. My old neighbors booked it 2 years ago, and sail Jan 4 to May 5.
I have been to a few of the places....I don't know if I would like it, I get seasick.

I'm not a big fan of cruises. Seems like a good way to get sick. A thousand people on a boat is like living in a petri dish.

4 months is a long time to be on a cruise.

I did a cruise and got sea sick. Then I went sailing, and got sick. I ended up OK on the sailboat. I got my "sea legs, "and was at the helm and able to drink beer too. I find travelling to be a pain as I "had" to travel for work.

They do cruises all the time. They have been to Iceland ect. For them it's still a big deal though. VERY expensive

Looks good if you are into that. I had a buddy do a "Semester at sea". I think he liked it. All i remember is he brought back some shirts from Sri Lanka.

If i was on that cruise i might get off in the Maldieves or Tahiti and never get back on.

My brother used to be a (dual) officer on a ocean going freighter, going randomly around the world. Don't know the terminology, but there's Captain, steering officer, and head machinist. He was jointly the latter two.
He was always sick the first two days after being on land for a week or more (or so). While he had to work....
One gets used to it - he said.

My dad was a long time air force (fighter jet) pilot and then a long time airline pilot.

Me, i moved to another country - but only travel 5 times or so per year for work. I would not want to be away from home for months at a time, vacation or otherwise...

Tahiti - Bora Bora and I would stay - also Portugal in the winter I would jump ship

Looks like a dang good cruise, and as much as I Like burning my stove, I think I’d rather spend most of winter in tropical climates.

Sign me up… although I think the misses would jump ship by week 2 with the rest of you!🤣

I enjoy cruises but 10-14 days would be the longest I would want to be on one.
When I got my sickest it was a shallow hull ship meant to go into little harbors. The thing had :
Surge, Sway, Heave, and three rotational: Roll, Pitch, Yaw), but if focusing on the four most distinct and commonly recognized, they are Pitch (bow/stern up/down), Roll (side-to-side tilt), Yaw (turning left/right), and Heave (overall vertical rise/fall). These movements are caused by waves, wind, and propulsion, affecting stability and navigation = sea sick
