Hello, and I hope I am posting this thread in the right section. I am posting this for my neighbor because I am helping him rebuild his stove.
Here is the question:
He bought A VC, Defiant Encore Model -2190. The Refractory Assembly is shot and he doesn't want to pay the cost of buying a new Refractory Assembly. He told me today he was thinking about making a new Refractory out if castable refractory cement, does anyone know if this will work? and he said he is not going to use the cat. Any and all reply's are welcomed. Thank you in advance.
