I used a ramp of oak 2 x lumber to get the stove up on the hearth in 1992, I'd have to do so again to take it down from it, it's 10 or more inches high. The hand truck is one my father in law built to haul welding tanks and gear on, it alone weighs like 50 pounds or so, stove is over 400 pounds.

If I got it on the floor, I can move it to the side door and onto my trailer like I did that player piano using "piano jacks" but neither is something I relish._g I have a drill powered winch that would pull it out the door and into the trailer.
I starting thinking about moving mine. It's on a steel floor protector. When they were installing it, they had the venting already attached to the stove including the long slip vertical section. Two guys moved it into place then slid the slip section up onto the 90 near the ceiling. I'm guessing this is the way I should move the stove forward, just reverse the steps. I saw some little dolly's I might be able to put on each corner.

Keep in mind there is a gasket behind the tailpipe where it bolts together. If it is in good condition when you pull it apart it can probably be reused. If not it will need to be replaced.
I've got a tube if silicon, stores are closed here today.

Well the blower motor started whining an hour in and the exhaust fan is unbalanced and shaking the stove after start up. Totally unimpressed. I phoned Harman customer service. You can't even get a real person. Can't get an email address either. I should have ditched it. I was going to post a video of the noise it's making but it's to big. The dealer who I bought it from suggested it was installed incorrectly after I sent him the video. Wtf how do you install a 3 bolt motor wrong? Both of them are louder then the ones I took out. Although the blower motor is really pumping the heat out. I'm so glad I decided to go heat pumps. I have a Quadrafire 5 feet from me and it's quieter than the Harman 15 feet away around a corner. It's obvious to me Harman is not in the quality product business despite what I heard or they advertise. Nothing works on this thing as it should. I've been lied to by just about everyone I've dealt with in regards to this product. Both dealers and technicians. Learned an expensive lesson. 3 exhaust fans in 2 years. Hope you all have better luck then me. I've finished venting now.

I had to turn the blower down to a spot where it stopped whining. Lucky enough there is one. One more week to go, I hope it makes it.

I got ahold of Harman, send them an email with the video and this the response I got.

Based on your specific appliance model and configuration, a local authorized dealer is the best resource to provide technical support and assist with ordering parts. If your serial number has been validated, the selling dealer is listed below or click here to find a dealer near you.

I did an email back from some one who represents Harman suggesting 1 the fan blade was hitting the stove, 2 it was put on the stove without the rubber grommets, or 3 it was put in wrong. Didn't know you could put it in wrong, either way it was installed so the wiring was facing the right direction. And wanted pictures. I explained to them that I couldn't do it, due it's location. And my inability to physically get there. I also mentioned the same applies for the blower motor. The exhaust fan is still rumbling and the blower is some what more noisy as I had to move it from where it was to fill speed to get decent heat out of it. I also found a spot in the dial where it just hums like crazy, almost like a 60 cycle hum, so i I have to stay away from it. Stay tuned, I'm not holding my breath.

Hasn't blown up yet, 4 days to go.
Did you get it all fixed up? I was sorry to hear the poor Harman stove was letting you down. I guess it was having a mid life crisis.

Not really, I'm now having a circulation issue. They started the heat pumps yesterday and we got dumped last night. About a foot of snow. So everything is buried. probably not coming today. I'm waiting for a snow plow to go by so they can make it up the hill. I did the driveway last night when they did the first pass. As for the Harman, I've given up on it. Once everything is finished, I'm assuming tomorrow, it will be turned off. Harman are being dicks about it, so it's not worth the effort. And I'm sure we're all tired of hearing about it.

Ya if the heat pump outside unit gets covered it's no good as the fan will suck the snow and probably stall. Sorry to hear about the Harman. I know you tried everything besides a total rebuild. The middle of winter is not the time for that. Good thing you have the other pellet stove. Here I'm not sure how much snow we have as it was so windy. I have to go out and clear a path but it's still windy. Tomorrow would be the best day to snow blow. Then after that it warms up, and I hope we don't get any rain.

I'm still getting enough heat to keep it warm. But here's an example. Running on 5 to get 70f in the back, and it's 26f outside. It should be a sauna. It's not the stove, some how I've lost my circulation. Stove blowing lots of heat I've been measuring it. It circulates less heat when the blower is in high then low. Which boggles my mind. So I've been trying alternatives. Moving the fan, turning it off ( which normally causes a 2f drop), different fan. Nothing has an effect. I'm now back to the original fan, which has worked for 3 years. I've picked up 4f. Good start but not even close. I'm sure you all know how hot it should be. 77 plus here. On 5 it should be in the teens outside. So again with 4 heads going inside and variable temps and fan speeds I'll have my heat where I want it. No more cleaning, humping bags or monitoring it any more. They're not coming today for obvious reasons and should be done tomorrow. The 4 heads are installed, the just have to hook the power and cooling lines up. Ones almost buried. On the snow removal, I plowed last night and waited today to replow and do both sides of the driveway with no vehicles in it. They left a 4 foot pile, which is a tough gig, but got it done. Helped a few neighbours out and now taking the rest of the day off. Tomorrow I'm sure they'll be back to plug it up again. 🤮 I just checked, it's down to 4.5, 25f outside and 75 in the back. (Living room) Oh we got at least a foot and are running out of places to put it. I just shove it across the road, where the empty lot is. City can deal with it there.
