Decided to fabricate a high temp gasket per this video:
I did go with his 2 layer approach.(a bit thick though) Wanted a reusable gasket and one that will be resistant to the temperature.
The RTV I used is rated at 650F. Found a posting from Mike at Englander stating that temps have to be no
higher than 500F at combustion fan in order for the stoves to pass all tests. So below are the pictures of materials used and finished gasket. Will run stove this weekend as temps will be dropping.
