Hello
This is a single flue 8”x8” block chimney with brick only on the outside top roof portion. It has a clay flue liner and a Selkerk Masonry Conversion Kit with a Stainless Steel liner going down to a P61 in the basement. The new stainless steel Buderus boiler flue is right behind it. It has a concrete crown with a few of cracks. Little if any water gets in but coming into winter sealing it up maybe a good idea?
Has anyone else done this?
I used Saver Systems Crown Coat - 15 year warranty!
Real easy to brush on in very cold weather.
SaverSystems All Weather CrownCoat Brushable Masonry Sealant - 1 Gallon Container
