Does the Morso 6140 require an appliance adapter

In process of installing a 6140 with rear venting to the Rockford insulated chimney liner kit. The Morso instructions do not state if it does (or doesn't) require an adapter. The stove looks like it would connect directly to the single wall clean out tee but I've having trouble getting it to fit.

If it's close then the snout of the tee may just need crimping to get it to fit.
