I have been so busy cutting and hauling that I had to start splitting to free up some space..a couple weeks back my friend gave me a bunch of Red Oak,White Oak and Burr Oak logs that had been setting for a long time and I have salvaged some excellent firewood out of these logs! I didnt know what to expect until I started splitting because some of them looked like they were past prime...BUT they are not! Going to be a long spring and summer of splitting and stacking...:) I received a request for some cherry wood for a smoker my friend brought into work...apparently we are having smoked drumsticks tomorrow at work! I am actually looking forwards to work tomorrow! lol

I would never get anything done with that past time! lol

I have 10 mini kegs full with an amber bock , Irish Red , English brown Ale, Summer Blonde Ale , and American Cream Ale. So now I don't have any excuse to get out and get my wood done before it gets too hot.

you going to drink all of that? lol

Over the course of the summer 'll work on it . When I go to outdoor parties like Memorial day , Fathers day at the pond , 4 th of July, Labor day , I take my 5 gal mini kegs and tap set up. One of the biggest quality issues with home brewing is not letting the beer condition in cold storage for at least 3 months. Cold conditioning makes a great beer into an awesome brew.

Sounds like a good time!
