Door *Lock* device for the VC Resolute 1988?

My 3 year old kids know enough not to touch the hot stove, but they can't resist playing with it when it's cool. The love to play in the ashes, etc.

Any door lock kits or ideas? We had a big gate around it last season, but we're trying to avoid that now. They'd probably find a way over the gate now, anway.
