We just bought a Blaze King Princess, and we are in the process of installing it. Our problem is that we cannot get the stove pipe to fit the stove collar.
The manual suggests that we need 6" stove-pipe. So...we bought 6" double-wall pipe (Selkirk).
But...the double-wall stove-pipe seems to be too small to fit onto the stove, perhaps because of the thickness of the stove's collar...
THE STOVE COLLAR:
Inside diameter is 6".
Outer diameter is 6 1/2".
It's quite a thick collar.
THE STOVE PIPE:
The inner pipe's outside diameter is 5 3/4".
The outer pipe's outside diameter is 6 3/8" (which is less than 6 1/2, making it too small to fit over the collar).
QUESTION:
Should we be trying to shove/bend/ram/force the pipe onto the collar, even though it does not seem to fit? Or perhaps we should have bought some sort of special stove connector?
Thanks for any advice!
