I may have an opportunity to buy a Drolet Cape Town at a discount store near me. It's been discontinued, but it's a non-catalytic cast iron stove and that's really appealing. Does anyone have one? Thoughts?
We have little data on it, but I liked the design and look. It's European made, not sure if by Franco Belge or Dovre. There was a past thread that thought Dovre. Both are premium European foundries. If you are looking for a radiant, medium-sized stove, it could work. Getting parts in the future could be challenging so the price should reflect that.
