Hi all,

STOVE lights begins to heat up codes E and begins to shut down, pellets stop feeding etc. The fan is about to cut in to blow heat and E codes.

It will light and heat the home one in 5 times and will run until I manually shut it down or it runs out of pellets.

Would this be a lower limit 160 snap disc detecting fire or possibly thermistor?

And can someone explain the 250, 160, and thermistor to me? I understand 250 is upper limit switch and 160 is lower limit.

Is it possible the stove isn't reaching required temp fast enough?

Thanks!

E code is out of pellets (Hopper empty)
160 snap disc is proof of fire
250 snap disc is overheated (red button on top)
There is no thermister in your stove
Most likely is a dirty or defective 160 snap switch
Remove disc clean and test stove
if it still does not work jump wires and start the stove
If it works replace the snap disc

Thanks for the reply! I will give er a go.

This winter is freezing and thawing ping pinging back and forth here on the rock's west coast.

Thought I saw thermistor in the parts diagram listed on their website threw me off.
