So, about a week back, after a long burn, I noticed some haze on my stoves glass in the bottom left corner. The fire was in the coaling stage at this point, and for some dumb reason I thought I would clean the haze off of the glass. So I took a paper towel and sprayed some of the Rutland Stove Glass cleaner on it and went to wipe the glass. As soon as the paper towel touched the glass the cleaner sizzled on the glass and seemed to bake onto it
The next day, with a cold stove this time, I cleaned the glass, but the "baked on" cleaner mark is still there (about the size of a half dollar).
Question is there any way to get this off now? I tried the cleaner and even windex and simple green with a paper towel, but nothing takes it off. Don't want to try anything else w/out checking in for advice, as i don't want to scratch the glass to fix my dumb mistake. Thanks!
