Hi All -

Is there any way to continue with DVL stove pipe out of the top of a duratech ceiling support box. I would like to use the support box in the first floor ceiling, continue with DVL through an internal chase (clearances for DVL met), and then transition to duratech chimney pipe at the 2nd floor ceiling and into the attic.

Essentially I have two questions:
  1. Will DVL readily attach to the topside of the support box? If not,
  2. Which adapter would I need to use?
Any help would be great, I havent been able to find this specific scenario through search.

thanks!

You need to use chimney pipe from the ceiling on. Connector pipe can't pass through floors or walls and can't be enclosed

That's a definite no.
