Looking right now at last project on the Eco 65 and installing an OAK kit.
One thing I don't like and questioned is the way the trap is done behind the stove.
You can close it for summer which is fine but i'm wondering if a draft will be felt
when the stove is not used???? because of the non-direct(open) trap inside the stove?

Has anyone closed it somehow???????

Regards

As long as the combustion motor is on the flap should open on its own. Should be checked occasionally to see that it open/closed easily. Harman uses the same type of flap on their stoves as well. I'm sure you'll like the Eco 65 as its a heating beast.
