EcoFan for pellet stove?

Anybody use this? It looks like a good idea. Ace Hardware has Lignetics for $8.99 per bag!

It will spin on top of the stove but it is not an effective heat mover. I put mine on the pellet stove behind a pot with water and scented oils. It moves the scent well but I do not notice the heat moving into the house any further. I am not sure if all pellet stoves get hot enough to operate the fan.

Yeah, that $100 would buy a lot of pellets! Not as much Lignetics from Ace, but still....
