When my wood is burning it only seems to be burning in the back of the firebox. Today when I just had a few embers I turned on the fan and all that glowed were the coals in the back of the firebox. Any answers would be appreciated.

Hi Jim,
Check to see what your Primary air inlets are set at. You may have to much air going in gasification(top) chamber.

Jeemco,
WRboiler gave good advice but when the fire gets way down or is dead you might also want to look into your nozzle to see if there is an obstruction to the air flow. Trees grow around things some times and they can end up in the boiler when the wood goes in. I've found 4" rocks, large bolts, pieces of fencing and other things in the ashes in my wood burners.
