Electric motor won't engage on Bilt-Hard splitter

One poster suggested replacing the hydraulic oil with ATF. That is a good suggestion. My splitter's (gas) documentation recommended hydraulic oil unless I was going to be splitting below 40F. If it was going to be used below 40F, the manul said to use ATF instead so that is what I went with.
Spend the extra few bucks and get synthetic ATF
